Thank you for purchasing your unique copper pipe creation. Copper is a natural material and as such will oxidise. What does this mean? When copper comes into contact with air it naturally darkens in colour.

Your copper pipe creation is untreated. I leave it this way so you can choose what colour you would like it. Personally I like the bright shine of freshly buffed copper pipe. I use steel wool to keep mine that way. You could also use any suitable metal cleaning product recommended for copper.

If your copper pipe reaches a colour you prefer and you would like it stay that way, a coat of clear varnish will stop the copper oxidising further. Please make sure you follow the instructions before applying and ensure the varnish has dried thoroughly, before using the product. Especially if the creation is a candle holder.
